Douce Maison – Terms and Conditions
Booking
• All bookings must be paid in full.
• You will receive a confirmation email once your booking and payment have been approved.
• Your confirmation email will include all the details of your booking.
• You may arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your appointment time.
• Check-in, clean-up, and check-out must be within your allotted time.
• Once a booking is confirmed, we offer NO REFUNDS. Payment will be transferred as studio credit for a period of 7 days. If unused within this period, the payment will be forfeited.
Extension and Overtime
• A request for extension must be made before or as soon as you arrive. If there is availability and no booking after you, you may extend in one-hour increments.
• Extension is not guaranteed.
• Douce Maison reserves the right to invoice for any extra time in the space, according to the studio manager’s report.
• If you fail to adhere to your allotted time, our staff will prompt you to vacate the space. Persistent late finishes may result in future bookings being canceled.
• We can arrange for early access or late opening at an extra charge if requested at least one week in advance (subject to staff availability). Don’t hesitate to get in touch with the space bookings team for more information.
Attendees
• Only the number of persons approved based on your booking category are allowed on the premises.
• Clients must not exceed the recommended studio/room maximum capacity.
Cancellation
• Your booking may be rescheduled with a 48-hour notice before your booking time, based on availability.
• New dates for any rescheduled bookings are restricted to one week from the original booking date.
Food & Drinks
• Food and drinks are not allowed to be eaten in shoot and set areas (sofas, couches, armchairs, rugs, and coffee tables). Please avoid bringing in food, drinks, or any substance that can leave permanent stains or a strong odor.
Damages to the Space
• You will be responsible for any damage caused to the spaces during or as a result of your hire. This includes (without any limitation) damage to the floor, walls, or audio-visual system.
• You are responsible for informing the studio manager if you notice anything unusual in the condition of the space you are using before commencing your booking.
• After block bookings with exclusive use and any hires, including sets or props, we will conduct an inventory of the space. The hirer will be charged for any damages.
• If there are any missing items/damage after the shoot, we reserve the right to bill you for the cost and administration fees of damaged/missing items.
• Please endeavour to take all your belongings with you when leaving the studio, as we will not be responsible for any loss of or damage to personal property left at the studio premises.
